Novel took over the bomb diggity space (momentum) in 2022. Owners Nate and Joshua did major renovations to the space to turn it into Portland's first Book Bar and Cafe. Novel is a two floor experience space. The street level imbibes a mansion study where customers can read, drink and eat in the ambiance of books. The lower level is an entertainment space (still under construction) for music, comedy, poetry and much more. 

We wanted a place for the book lovers, community gathering, somewhere you don't need to shout over the music or TVs, a place that no excuse is needed to enjoy by yourself or with others. We can't wait to have you.
